Hello, bytewise
I ship AI-powered apps, and I’m starting to write down what actually happens when I do.
bytewise is that record. Not a portfolio with a highlight reel, not a growth-hacking blog promising a playbook — just a builder’s notes from inside the work. I design, build, and launch mobile apps on my own, mostly with AI in the loop somewhere: generating a first draft, debugging a stubborn crash, drafting a listing, reviewing a design. Some of that helps enormously. Some of it wastes an afternoon. I want to write about both, honestly, as it happens.
There’s no dashboard of numbers here yet, and I won’t invent one to look impressive on day one. What you’ll get instead is real texture: what an App Store rejection actually looks like and how I fixed it, which parts of a “just use AI for it” workflow hold up under pressure and which don’t, what shipping alone actually costs in time and attention. When I do have real numbers — downloads, conversion, retention — I’ll publish them, good or bad.
This is the first post because a blog with zero posts isn’t a blog, it’s an intention. Consider this the intention, made concrete. More soon.
